As time goes on, Ganga realizes that Rajiv isn’t the person Arjun portrayed to her. In her new surroundings, her only friend and confidant is Arjun, with whom she begins to form a special bond. Ganga excitedly leaves for America with her new family. The engagement is set in India with the wedding in America. Eventually, Rajiv and Ganga agree to the wedding. Arjun spends many days trying to get Ganga and Rajiv to like each other and, in the process, becomes a close friend of Ganga. Then, Rajiv arrives and initially does not like the idea of the marriage. Arjun arrives at Dev’s house and arranges to make the place suitable for Rajiv. He sends his foster son, Arjun to play cupid and convince Rajiv to meet Ganga in India. I must have been so nervous that I don’t remember when I did that film, especially the scenes in front of him.This movie is AWESOME! Pardes is a Bollywood musical drama film directed by Subash Ghai. But obviously when you look at the film, I have performed. Mahima on working with Shah Rukh Khan, once during an interview had said, “I don’t remember ever saying my lines in front of him. Juhi Chawla was considered for the role of Ganga, but Subhash Ghai was so impressed with Mahima that he offered her the role then. Mahima who won the Best Newcomer Award for her performance in the film, however wasn't the first choice for the role. Shah Rukh Khan was a few films old and already a star when Pardes came his way, but Mahima Chaudhry marked her debut with the film and we must say that she made a mark on each one's heart with her performance.
